 يلتزم برنامج إعداد معلم الرياضيات للتعليم العام بإعداد معلم متخصص ومتميز في تدريس الرياضيات يتمتع بأعلي مستويات الجودة محلياً واقليمياً، مبدعاً ومتمكناً من المعارف والمهارات والاتجاهات الحديثة في التدريس، وقادراً علي الإسهام فى إعداد بحث علمي متميز في مجال التخصص، ويساهم في تنمية المجتمع المحلى بما يحقق أهداف التنمية المستدامة ومعايير الجودة.

The Mathematics Teacher Preparation Program for General Education is committed to preparing a specialized and distinguished teacher in mathematics teaching who enjoys the highest levels of quality locally and regionally, is creative and capable of knowledge, skills and modern methods of teaching, and is able to contribute to the preparation of distinguished scientific research in the field of specialization, and contributes to the development of the local community in order to achieve sustainable development goals and quality standards.

- أهــــــــداف الــبرنــامج

يجب في نهاية هذا البرنامج أن يكون الخريج قادرًا على:

1/1 تصميم خطط لتدريس الرياضيات وتوفير بيئات تربوية مناسبة، مستخدماً استراتيجيات التدريس الحديثة، وموظفاً تكنولوجيا التعليم، مستعينا بأساليب وأدوات تقويم مناسبة لقياس مخرجات التعليم والتعلم للطلاب العاديين وذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة

1/2 تحقيق التنمية الذاتية المهنية وامتلاك القدرة على التواصل الفعال في المواقف التدريسية والحياتية المختلفة، ملماً ومدركًا لوحدة المعرفة وللمستجدات ذات العلاقة بتخصص الرياضيات.

1/3 التواصل باللغتين العربية والانجليزية، ملتزماً بقيم المجتمع وأخلاقياته، ومقومات الهوية الثقافية، والمشاركة في تنمية قيم المواطنة.

1/4 المشاركة فى أنشطة خدمة المجتمع والتنمية المستدامة ومستخدمًا الأساليب العلمية بما يحقق الجودة والتميز فى حل المشكلات المهنية والمجتمعية، وموظفًا آليات الإرشاد والتوجيه التربوي.

1/5 المنافسة والابتكار محلياً من خلال إمداده بعلوم الرياضيات الأساسية والتطبيقية.

1/6 امتلاك كفايات البحث العلمى فى مجال الرياضيات لخدمة المجتمع .

1/7 توظيف المعارف والمبادىء العامة للرياضيات فى حل كل من المشكلات الرياضية والمجتمعية  .

1/8 الإلمام بالمجالات الثقافية المتعلقة بتاريخ الرياضيات، وقضايا التفاعل بين المعلم والرياضيات، وتأثيرها على المجتمع وبقية مجالات العلوم الطبيعية.

1/9 امتلاكه كفايات تكنولوحية للتواصل والبحث الفعال عن المعلومات.

1/10 تكوين إتجاه إيجابي للذات المهنية وتنمية الرغبة في ممارسة مهنة التعليم.

 At the end of this program the graduate should be able to:

1/1 Designing plans for teaching mathematics and providing appropriate educational environments, using modern teaching strategies, and implemetnting educational technology, using appropriate evaluation methods and tools to measure teaching and learning outcomes for ordinary students and those with special needs.

1/2 Achieving professional self-development and having the ability to communicate effectively in different teaching and life situations, omniscient with and aware of the unity of knowledge and developments related to the major of mathematics.

1/3 Communicating in both Arabic and English, committed to the values ​​and ethics of society, and the elements of cultural identity, and participating in the development of citizenship values.

1/4 Participating  in community service and sustainable development activities, using scientific methods to achieve quality and excellence in solving professional and societal problems, and employing educational and guidance mechanisms.

1/5 Competing and innovating locally by providing it with basic and applied mathematics sciences.

1/6 Possessing the competencies of scientific research in the field of mathematics to serve the community.

1/7 Employing the general knowledge and principles of mathematics in solving all of the mathematical and societal problems.

1/8 Familiarity with cultural fields related to the history of mathematics, issues of interaction between the teacher and mathematics, and its impact on society and the rest of the fields of natural sciences.

1/9 Possessing technological competencies for effective communication and information search.

1/10 Creating a positive attitude to the professional self and developing the desire to practice the teaching profession.
